About Us
We are a group of gay people pursuing a common interest of caravanning and camping. We aim to bring together like minded people with like minded interests.
Our Aims
Our aim is to provide a means whereby gay people can meet
together in amicable settings while following their common interests. We hope to promote a happy, friendly and informal atmosphere.
The Trailer
The 'Trailer' is the clubs newsletter, currently circulated monthly but at times bi-monthly, the contents are both informative and entertaining.
The main purpose of the newsletter is to give members advance notice of the meets that are going to take place with a section covering meet reports. There is contact information for members and a section whereby members can place ads for articles that they may want to sell. A wordsearch is included for any members who might find a few minutes to idle away.
At Meets
We are as informal and relaxed as possible. Visit other units for tea or coffee and a chat. Maybe sightseeing, visiting local pubs and clubs or even just shopping or walking the dog. Most of all to have an enjoyable time in the company of other members.
Hosting Meets
Hosting a meet should not be a cause for alarm or concern. The main job of the host is to act as a point of contact, especially for new members arriving on site. It is always nice to have a welcome, after a journey, and to be introduced to any other members that might be on site. The host may also try to negotiate, with the site warden, to get all members units into the same area (not always possible). It is for this reason that members booking for a meet should let the host know that they have done so.
