Is there a minimum age to join The Freedom Club.
Yes you must be at least 18 years old.
I don’t have a unit yet, but can I still join and visit.
Yes as long as the meet host agress we will be pleased to see you.
Where do you go.
Meets are arranged all over the country including Scotland, Wales and sometimes into Europe.
What sites do you use.
We use Camping & Caravan Club, Caravan Club, Commercial and Certified sites.
Do you have your own sites.
No.
What do you do on a meet.
Meets vary in content and activity. Some are free and easy where a host simply provides a venue to meet up and socialize over morning coffee or evening drinks. Other’s lay on activities such as games and quizzes, or trips to local pubs, clubs and places of interest. Of course some meets tie in with occasions such as pride events, or caravan and motorhome shows. At the end of the day it’s the members club and the member’s choice on what meets to host and attend. Try a theme or format of your own should you choose to host! New members and new ideas are always welcome.
What does it cost to join.
The annual membership fee is non refundable and is per unit (tent, caravan or motor home). this covers the primary member and partner. For current fee's see Join Us on the main menu.
If we join can we occasionally bring a friend with us.
Yes but a maximum of 2 guests per unit. and as long as your guests site fees are paid, and both the club and meet hosts are agreeable. Your guests must comply with the Club Guidelines.
What is expected of us.
Just to have a good enjoyable time.
Are we always expected to join in with the group.
No of course not. You are free to join in or do whatever else you would like to do.
Who runs the Meets.
Meets are run by Freedom Club members for Freedom Club members.
When we join can we visit meets without staying.
Yes of course, you will be most welcome but please let the meet host know you are coming. Some sites make a small charge for day visitors.
Can members contribute to the newsletter.
Contributions are always welcome as long as they are non contentious and are of general interest.
